If you are anything like me, you want to experience EVERY part of the escape rooms you play. This is most possible when playing by yourself, but...taking loneliness into consideration, I almost always play in a pair. The issue with this is: some escape rooms are advertised as only playable with more people. Sometimes, this is because it is physically impossible to complete the puzzles without more people but sometimes it is just difficult. Understandably escape room companies prefer large groups because then they make the most money, but let's explore the best ones to play in a pair (whether advertised for two or not).

Here is a list of all the rooms I have enjoyed in and weren't too tricky (i.e. I finished in time):

  • Paris Escape, Social Escape

  • Baker Street Mystery, Social Escape

  • Ex Libris, Next Level

  • Marlowe Hotel, Cipher Room

  • Espionage, Cipher Room

  • The Cabin, Cipher Room

  • Last Order, Mission Escape

  • Trapped, Mission Escape

  • Vampire Castle, Mission Escape

  • Unstoppable, Mission Escape

  • Gateway, ParaPark

  • The Island, Mazescape

  • Wonderland, Mazescape

  • Royal Casino, Xcape

  • Crime Scene '95, ParaPark

  • Dr Disaster, Enigma Room

  • Super Cell, PaniQ Room

  • Senses, PaniQ Room

  • The Virus, CT Adventure

  • MU-T, CT Adventure

  • Prison Break, Xscape

These ones are possible but trickier in a pair:

  • Ching-Chiu Palace, Xcape - Technically need 4 people but you can be creative and get away with it in a pair.

  • Bank Heist, Social Escape
